Crimson Desert 1.06 Update Introduces Claw Machine Mini-Game and New Mounts
New content and mounts steal the show in Pearl Abyss's latest update.

Pearl Abyss just dropped the 1.06 update for Crimson Desert, packed with new features, bug fixes, and quality tweaks. It's out for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. They're not slowing down, pushing this update right after the last one.
New Content Highlights
A claw machine mini-game? Yep, it's at the Laughing Marionette. Players can snag 12 types of lighting items, special headgear, Abyss Artifacts, and Gears. It's a fun twist.
Mounts are getting an upgrade too. Now you can ride wolves, bears, and iguanas. This adds more to explore and strategize. Plus, there's a new extraction feature to reclaim materials from equipment. That's a boost for progression.
New mounts include:
- Wolves, Bears, Camels
- Kuku Birds, Iguanas
- Lions, Tigers
Game Enhancements
New combat skills are here for Oongka, including unarmed combat. Players can now sheath swords for a visual tweak. And pet dogs in combat? Thanks to the 'Sigil of Valor,' they can join the fight. Buy it from the Secret Shop NPC in Pororin.
Background
Crimson Desert's been getting frequent updates since its March 2026 debut. Pearl Abyss is keeping engagement high with regular updates and surprise features.
What's Still Unclear
- Will players dig the new mini-game and mounts?
- Are more tweaks needed for the extraction feature?
- What's next for unarmed combat skills?
Why This Matters
This patch shows Pearl Abyss's drive to enrich the game fast. New elements, quick responses to feedback. Crimson Desert keeps evolving, keeping players hooked.
